Out of the office: into a field!

The Little Gin Company has been on tour – stamping our mark on the festival scene over the past couple of weeks.

Since embarking on the mobile gin bar adventure in 2015, we’ve been keen to explore the festival world as we think our quirky horse trailer bar adds a fantastic little feature for festival goers to enjoy! (And it also looks GREAT in a field)

We’ve dipped our toe in – by pitching up at 2 VERY different festivals in the past 2 weeks – and we love it!

First up was Soul Circus in the Cotswolds, a yoga, health, wellbeing and music festival. For a first year festival, the organisers did a fantastic job of creating a dreamy looking field full of tipi style tents full of yoga, meditation, talks, food and music. Unfortunately Mother Nature stuck her ore in and we experienced extreme wind and rain conditions (with the odd spell of sunshine) for most of the weekend! That didn’t dampen the spirit of the festival and the show went on. We managed to squeeze in a little yoga session – amongst serving plenty of gin and Cotswold cider to the lovely festival goers.

With just a day to spare in between, we were then off up north, to Warrington for Creamfields festival – if you haven’t heard of it, it’s the largest Dance festival in Europe! Our gin bar was one of 3 bespoke bars set up to serve the VIP ticket holders, in the hospitality arena from Thursday until Sunday. It was a muddy experience and the porta-loos will give us nightmares for weeks to come but we met and served some fantastic people over the four days (some of whom claimed to hate gin….but not anymore!)

Here’s to many more festivals for The Little Gin Company!
