The Sip + Supper Club – Stratford upon Avon

In exciting news, The Little Gin Company is part of a group of local businesses organising a new community event in our home town of Stratford upon Avon. The town has been crying out for an event like this, offering a platform to showcase some of the fantastic small, independent businesses we have in the local area. So when the idea of the Sip + Supper Club came up – we jumped at the opportunity to get involved. Sip + Supper club is an event for our community to eat, drink and shop local, with a delightful range of local produce, creative gems, streetfood, boozy tipples, music and art.

The event launched on Friday 28th April at the Rosebird Community Hall and our doors were open between 6.30pm and 9.30pm. It was a free event and everyone was welcome. We are proud to say it was a roaring success (for a first time event) and the turnout exceeded all our expectations.

We provided the pop up bar, along with our sister company, The Little Rum Company. We also had beer and also soft drink options for the children.

Traders included:

Trailer Trash Street Food – providing a delicious menu to consume during the event

Daphnes Coffee Shop – A dinky coffee cart for tea, coffee & hot chocolate

Monsoon Estates Coffee – Artisan Coffee Roasters

Talton Mill Farm Shop – Meat, Veg, Gluten Free Cakes

Trug Plants

Barrel & Bone – Live fermented food

The Olive Stall – Olives, nuts & antipasti

Goodies Galore – Cakes & Bakes

Vin Neuf Wine Merchants

Paxton & Whitfield Cheese Mongers

Tara Osborne – Handmade Jewellery

TrunkJunkies Vintage – Clothing & Homeware

Blackmans Artisan Bakery

SCRAWL – live drawing by one half of award winning animation duo, The Brothers McLeod.

Although the feedback has been really positive, we have had so many great suggestions on how to improve the event in the coming months.

The next Sip + Supper Club will take place on Friday 19th May from 6.30pm – 9.30pm and if you can’t make that one, the following date is Friday 30th June.

Hopefully see you there! For more information visit
